What is the weather like in Carnarvon?
A:Carnarvon has a warm semi-arid climate. Average yearly rainfall is 226 millimeters (8.90 in) with the rainiest months (and the most reliable rainfall) being between May and July as the northern edges of winter cold fronts brush the region. Occasional tropical cyclones affect Carnarvon during the summer months bringing heavy rain and strong winds. Apart from this erratic source of rainfall summers are normally dry. Temperatures range from an average maximum of 33 °C (91 °F) in February to 22 °C (72 °F) in July. Average minimums are 23 °C (73 °F) and 11 °C (52 °F)

How do I get to the resort by car?
A:our retreat address is Babbage Island Road, pelican Point, Carnarvon. From the Geraldton / Perth turn off, travel 4.5km towards town and turn right just before the Peak Service Station into Babbage Island RoadDrive approx 5.5km along Babbage Island Road past the famous One Mile Jetty on Pelican Point Road to the end, we are on your leftAll you have to bring with you is your food and drink

What time is Check-in / Check Out?
A:Check in time is from 2pm, If you arrive before 2pm you are welcome to store your luggage at our reception desk and enjoy all of our wonderful facilities prior to check in time and on the day of check out.
Check out time is before 10am
Should you wish to delay your departure, please contact reception the morning of departure as late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur a fee. -

A:your fishing line for sure, your boat, dinghy, paddle board, kite board, goggles and snorkel, diving gear anything for the great outdoors. All rooms have large fridges and fully contained so just yourself and food and let your adventure begin.

How to get to Pelican Point Waterfront Resort formerly Carnarvon Beach Retreat
A:The Pelican Point Waterfront Resort is around 10 hours drive from Perth or a couple of hours flight, located on the coast, nestled next to our private canals just 5 minutes from your front door on your boat to the Indian Ocean.
We are situated just-outside of Carnarvon at the end of Babbage Island Road only 5.5 kms out of Carnarvon town centre. You find us just past the historic one mile jetty and next to the local public boat ramp.
